A Common Text: “From Outrageous to Inspired”

The WMWP Executive Board voted this week to elect two new co-directors to fill in an upcoming vacancy as Inservice Co-Director Sara Palmer prepares to move to Pennsylvania and Continuity Co-Director Tina Brown ends her three-year term.

Massachusetts Writing Project Conference 2007

The first-ever Massachusetts Writing Project Conference took place this past weekend in Worcester and featured three rounds of interesting and exciting workshops from Teacher-Consultants from all four MWP sites (Western Mass, Central Mass, Boston and Buzzards Bay).
Workshops included:

ESL instruction
Technology integration
Writing across the curriculum
Family writing nights
